WELCOME TO KILNCROFT GALLERY
THE GALLERY is situated opposite the second tee of Royal Dornoch Golf Club on Grange Road in Dornoch. I opened the gallery in 2020 after refurbishing the garage at Kilncroft to create an exhibition space for my photographs, paintings and porcelain. There is a small selection of prints, ceramics and paintings on display. All the images below can be ordered in any size you require. The images are mostly of Sutherland and the stunning scenery around Dornoch including many of the spectacular Dornoch Beach and Firth.
I also have postcards of some of the images below.

Please come and visit. I am open everyday 9.30am till sunset, for a few more weeks before my winter shut down

With the golf course on my doorstep, I have been able to capture the links in all sorts of weather conditions and light.
It is one of the most beautiful and challenging of courses and has the stunning Sutherland coast as its backdrop.

When out and about chasing the light its often the gloomy days that produce the most sunning images. When an unexpected ray of sunshine

As well as my Landsacpe photography I have been creating images inspired by things I find and forage. Making objects from razor clam shells I find on the beach and feathers or picking the beautiful Dahlias my neighbour grows and taking photos of them.

DORNOCH BEACH

These images are created after collecting shells that I find on the beach.

I make objects with the shells and then photograph them. I then lay one image over another to create these images. The resulting photos look like faces and this one made from muscle shells has the look of some alien form but everyone sees something different.

THE GARDEN

With every season comes new colour and scent in the garden. These images are created once again by combining two photos taken in the studio, laying one image over the other to create these faces from roses, lavender, fennel and blubells.
